I first came across it while reading books or plays with characters who were plotting against each other, like in Shakespeare’s *Julius Caesar*. Understanding the word *machination* helps me explain situations where people are planning something tricky or unfair. It gives me a way to describe these kinds of plans in more detail, making my writing sound more interesting and clearer when I want to talk about complicated or sneaky actions.
