10/29/24

 Today we continued to work on the rockpile project because tomorrow we had to present to the class. Everyone mostly has read the story and started working on their murals to turn in. I was almost finished on mine but had other stuff to turn in. 

Today was a productive day and enjoyed how we talked in groups and had fun 

I was feeling great

 The word machination refers to a secret, often dishonest plan or scheme, usually with bad intentions. I first came across it while reading books or plays with characters who were plotting against each other, like in Shakespeare’s *Julius Caesar*. Understanding the word *machination* helps me explain situations where people are planning something tricky or unfair. It gives me a way to describe these kinds of plans in more detail, making my writing sound more interesting and clearer when I want to talk about complicated or sneaky actions.
