    Today in class we had to take a test about the story The Rockpile. We had been reading the story in class and have done multiple assignments on it. 

The test was easy but it was lowkey hard 

I felt good and was doing good that day

 The word machination refers to a secret, often dishonest plan or scheme, usually with bad intentions. I first came across it while reading books or plays with characters who were plotting against each other, like in Shakespeare’s *Julius Caesar*. Understanding the word *machination* helps me explain situations where people are planning something tricky or unfair. It gives me a way to describe these kinds of plans in more detail, making my writing sound more interesting and clearer when I want to talk about complicated or sneaky actions.
