November 4 - 5, Monday - Tuesday

 Today in class we read the story Ambush. The story is about a dad and a young daughter. The daughter ask her dad about if she ever killed anyone while being in the military and doesn't want to break the news to her. In the army he had to kill a man and he felt julity about it ever since. We also had 15 questions to do 

Today was a good today and I felt good

 The word machination refers to a secret, often dishonest plan or scheme, usually with bad intentions. I first came across it while reading books or plays with characters who were plotting against each other, like in Shakespeare’s *Julius Caesar*. Understanding the word *machination* helps me explain situations where people are planning something tricky or unfair. It gives me a way to describe these kinds of plans in more detail, making my writing sound more interesting and clearer when I want to talk about complicated or sneaky actions.
